“Jie Wu”, Canadian / Korean, 27 years old, died in a car crash, sunday, 25/10/2009, nearby Teófilo Otoni, Minas Gerais (my city of birth). Her passport has a number for emergency, but nobody answer.
She was Traveling from Salvador-BA to Rio de Janeiro-RJ when the bus crashed. 10 death. 
Authorities are trying to find her family, but no success so far.

Please, if you have any information, or a friend or something with same name that was travelling around Brazil, please, try making contact with this person, then with the Brazilian Embassy in Canada!
Sadly, I hear this news today. Jane was my friend and I could’ve helped at the time since I worked 2 blocks away from the Canadian Embassy here in Brasília. Thank you for posting this and trying to help.

I know this is 10 months later, but I am one of her friends. We have been worried about her for 10 months only to find out her family just didn’t let us know what happened. Thank you for posting this so that we could verify what happened. If you have further information about what happened after you posted this message, I would very much appreciate it.
